Another gibberish title (props if you can get the Mighty Boosh reference ;) ). This song took shape around 2011 and at the time I was very influenced by Dead Letter Circus (their album "This Is The Warning" came out in 2010), not to mention the fact that Karnivool's Sound Awake album had been in my car CD player for probably a year straight. It was originally written for a uni assignment, complete with lyrics, but I always wanted to re-record it with better production and in an instrumental form. It was also an amalgamation of several songs that I smashed together. It was given a slight re-working for the album. Daniel [Natoli, producer/engineer] and I had lots of fun playing around with percussion sounds, crazy bass effects, ring modulators and squishy synths.

For the musos:
I don't actually know what tuning this is in. I think some parts were recorded in Drop C, and others in C G C F G C (like DADGAD, but another step lower). This was because there were times when I needed an open high G string for some parts, but at other times I needed to use a regular Drop C to be able to get the chord shapes without snapping my tendons. There might even be bits in Drop D.

I had a little play around with polymetres in the bass breakdown, laying hi-hats in 6/8 down over a bass riff in 7/8. Something I need to muck around with more in future.
